Contact – Nzbettingtips

Readers with a question about a betting tip, a correction or a complaint will find the route here. The page also sets out what the site is and what it cannot do.

Who publishes the site

Publisher name, legal form, postal address and e-mail address can be found at bettingtipsnz.com. They are there so that the site can be identified and contacted.

Scope of the site

Informational content on racing and sports betting tips is all that the site provides. It takes no bets, keeps no customer accounts, accepts no money and does not mediate between readers and bookmakers. No forecast guaranteeing a win is made.

TAB NZ alone may lawfully offer racing and sports betting to people in New Zealand, a position in force from 28 June 2025 under section 74AAA of the Racing Industry Act 2020. TAB and Betcha are its online brands. The Department of Internal Affairs supervises compliance. There is no licence for any other bookmaker to apply for, so none holds one in New Zealand. The minimum age for betting is 18.

Articles are written carefully and reviewed from time to time. Because odds, markets and offer terms alter constantly, the provider’s current terms always prevail, and the site accepts no responsibility for decisions based on its content. Misleading conduct in trade is forbidden by the Fair Trading Act 1986, and the writing is done with that in view. Outside links were checked when added, but only their owners answer for what appears there later; a link to unlawful content is taken down when reported.

Texts, tables and graphics fall under the Copyright Act 1994. Use beyond fair dealing needs the publisher’s written consent beforehand.

Gambling harm

Betting carries risk. Anyone who spots signs of harmful gambling in themselves or a person close to them can approach the Gambling Helpline or Safer Gambling Aotearoa. Deposit limits, bet limits and self-exclusion are described by TAB NZ on its own pages.
